Dear Readers,
Since last week was brought to you by Zeus and Prometheus, I thought I’d drop into your inboxes this evening with a Full Moon update.
The Pink Moon/Scorpio Full Moon perfected a couple hours ago. It’s an intense and emotional Full Moon squaring Pluto, which is approaching its retrograde station next week, thus magnifying its effect. This Full Moon occurs while the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction that I recently wrote about is still active. Mercury will station direct on Thursday. Both Mercury and Pluto aren’t moving, so their resonance is stronger than usual. We are also under the influence of a Mars-Neptune conjunction ruling this Full Moon.
What’s the takeaway?
Likely, we’re feeling blocked in our capacity to make progress towards our desires, or feeling like our efforts are futile. Likely, there are deeply rooted unlovely emotions rooted in old memories coming to the surface. Likely, we’re feeling unsettled by massive changes on the horizon. Likely, we’re feeling like pushing forward towards a new dream or ideal, but something is holding us back, demanding our attention.
The Full Moon illuminates. Pluto is lord of the underworld. Mars conjunct Neptune in Pisces camouflages and distorts. Mercury retrograde wants us to reconsider and revise our ideas. Jupiter-Uranus in Taurus is seeding a physical, tangible, quantum leap.
What to do?
Look into the illuminated darkness of hidden and thwarted desires as we wade through the swamps of memory. Allow the catharsis of repressed or suppressed emotions. Make space in our hearts, minds, and souls for a new beginning.
The song I keep that keeps playing in my head today is Leonard Cohen’s:
You Want it Darker:
If you are the dealer, I'm out of the game
If you are the healer, it means I'm broken and lame
If thine is the glory then mine must be the shame
You want it darker
We kill the flame
Magnified, sanctified, be thy holy name
Vilified, crucified, in the human frame
A million candles burning for the help that never came
You want it darker
Hineni, hineni
I'm ready, my lord
There's a lover in the story
But the story's still the same
There's a lullaby for suffering
And a paradox to blame
But it's written in the scriptures
And it's not some idle claim
You want it darker
We kill the flame
They're lining up the prisoners
And the guards are taking aim
I struggled with some demons
They were middle class and tame
I didn't know I had permission to murder and to maim
You want it darker
Hineni, hineni
I'm ready, my lord
Magnified, sanctified, be thy holy name
Vilified, crucified, in the human frame
A million candles burning for the love that never came
You want it darker
We kill the flame
If you are the dealer, let me out of the game
If you are the healer, I'm broken and lame
If thine is the glory, mine must be the shame
You want it darker
Hineni, hineni
Hineni, hineni
I'm ready, my lord
Hineni
Hineni, hineni
Hineni
Know that this is all part of a mysterious unfolding.
We’re officially on the other side of our first eclipse season of the year and the wild astrology of April is still happening. We’re all in the throes of big change. If you’d like to know how this is likely to land in relation to you personally, I’d be delighted to serve as your guide to the star map known as your birth chart. I wish you all a sense of your power,
